Who we are

Our website address is: https://www.emilioaudissino.eu.

The hosting server is located in Italy (Aruba.it)

This is a port-folio website with no marketing or e-commerce purposes.

This website is Ad free.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

By default WordPress does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users.

We are a port-folio website and do not conduct commercial or marketing activities, and do not collect data for such uses.

We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of our site.

When the website is visited, access information such as IP addresses, dates and times, browser requests, generally transmitted information on the operating system and browser, etc. are recorded and stored in server log files. This information is collected anonymously and we use the information solely for statistical purposes and to ensure the proper functioning of the website. We store the server log files until they are automatically deleted after twelve months at the latest.

The website contains contact forms with which the visitor can voluntarily provide us with personal information. The same applies if personal information is transmitted not via the input form, but via the email address provided for this purpose on the website. A secure connection featuring SSL encryption is automatically invoked when using the contact forms, which renders data transmitted online illegible by third parties. The transmission of confidential or personal information by email or contact forms is at the sender’s risk.

Comments

When visitors leave comments/send a message through the contact forms on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form (Forename, Surname, and email address), and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

We collect your name and email address only to provide a response to the message you send through the contact form.

Personal Information (Forename and Surname) is used to identify you in relation to your query.

Personal Contact Information (email address) is used to communicate with you in response to your query.

A GDPR-compliant consent is to be given each single time before you send any query through the contact forms. Data are not shared with third parties.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

If you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Specifically, this website embeds videos from YouTube, a third-party video-sharing service administered by Google Inc. (USA), which employs cookies. See Google’s privacy policy on the type of data they collect and the use they make of them: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en

To limit the use of cookies and protect privacy, all the embedded YouTube videos on this website are in “privacy-enhanced mode”:

“Privacy Enhanced Mode allows you to embed YouTube videos without using cookies that track viewing behavior. This means no activity is collected to personalize the viewing experience. Instead, video recommendations are contextual and related to the current video. Videos playing in Privacy Enhanced Mode won’t influence the viewer’s browsing experience on YouTube. […] If the viewer clicks or taps out of the embed and is redirected to another website or app, that website or app may track the viewer’s behavior as per that website’s or app’s policies and terms.”

Who we share your data with

Data are not shared with any third party external to the website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment (this function is currently disabled on the website) the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments/queries may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
